The Story of Panettone
Legend claims that a rich young Milanese noble fell in love with the daughter of a poor baker, Tony. He wanted to marry the baker's daughter to ensured the baker had the very best ingredients to bake and create something unique. The baker created a wonderful bread which became known as Pan Di Tonio - Tony's brad, later named Panettone. The baker found his fame and fortune and the nobleman honourably married the baker's daughter.
