Wensley's Eccles Cakes

Tony Wensley's love of producing Traditional British foods began over twenty years ago as bakers in the famous market town of Melton Mowbray, England.

Before immigrating to Australia in 2004 Tony Wensley was the Bakery Manager of one of the oldest and prestigious Bakeries in Melton Mowbray, England, the renowned ‘Olde Pork Pie Shoppe’.

Today, Wensley’s continue to uphold all of those authentic flavours and tastes of Great British Food.

Eccles Cakes. Perfect 'melt in the mouth' pastry. Filled with a mixture of A grade currants, Butter and Spices. A recipe we all grew up with and know so well.
